How to Convert Older .dat to YAML File

Older Sepac versions prior to 5.0 utilized the dat format when saving to usb. These can be updated and converted to the YAML format as below.

Follow these quick steps to convert your .dat file to a yaml file:

1. Copy the .dat file to a USB stick in the folder /siemens/sepac. 

2. Load/install Sepac 3.58d on the controller.

3. Load the .dat file from the usb stick to the above controller, check that all data's intact. 
4. In Tactics 5.6.x, create a new ECOM intersection, connect the above 3.58 controller and configure it to get the version information into Tactics, then upload and save All Data.
5. Connect a newer Sepac controller (e.g. Sepac 5.6.x), then select the "Migrate" option in the Actions menu to convert it to NTCIP format (or just 'Configure' to leave it in ECOM format).
6. Open the converted intersection via YuTraffic Explorer for NTCIP or via Database Menu for ECOM, (check if all modules open ok), export a copy of the yaml file to disk.
