Advance Warning Sign General Setup

Newer SEPAC 5+ provide the ability to drive AWS for each phase via the Pedestrian Clear Output (Load Switch Yellow).

Generally, follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Unit Data (M-4-1),
SPECIAL SEQ <> 1 (Not equal to 1 for AWS)
  2. Go to M-3-1-4,
GDLY/10 - amount of time the aws output remains On AFTER the start of the Phase Green (can be 0).
YDLY/10 - amount of time the aws output turns On BEFORE the end of the Phase Green (must be greater than zero).
    FLASH - (0 - Steady) or (1 - Flash 60fpm)
  3. In M-4-2-1,
FLSH value - (0-dark during remote flash), (2-flashing yellow), (3-steady yellow)

NOTE: Sepac turns AWS outputs ON during startup and Fault Flash even though standard cabinet wiring precludes the outputs from being visible to the driver. With a modification to standard cabinet wiring, the AWS could be made visible to the driver during these situations. SEPAC turns on AWS outputs when a transition to Preempt begins and maintains this ON condition for the duration of Preempt.
